Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue and profitability targets. • Identify new business opportunities and expand client base across existing and new markets.
• Drive the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting to closing major accounts.
• Monitor sales pipelines and ensure timely reporting of forecasts and performance.
2. Client Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients. • Act as the primary escalation point for strategic accounts and ensure client satisfaction. • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. • Represent the company in client meetings, events, and industry forums.
3. Operations & Day-to-Day Management
• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the company, ensuring smooth execution across all departments. • Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize efficiency and productivity. • Coordinate with department heads to align operations with company goals. • Monitor and resolve operational challenges quickly to maintain service excellence. • Ensure compliance with company policies, local laws, and ethical standards.
4. Strategy & Leadership
• Contribute to the development of overall business strategy and growth roadmap. • Lead, mentor, and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver on company objectives. • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to adapt business strategies. • Ensure alignment of sales, operational, and financial functions to meet organizational goals.
5. Financial & Performance Management
• Oversee P&L performance, budgeting, and cost control to ensure financial sustainability. • Track operational and sales KPIs, reporting directly to senior leadership. • Drive operational efficiency and implement best practices across business units.
Desired Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred). • 10+ years of progressive experience in sales, business development, operations, or general management, preferably in marketing, events, or related industries. • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. • Strong experience in managing day-to-day operations and developing long-term client partnerships. • Solid leadership and team management skills with multicultural exposure. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
