Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Managing fleet of tug and barges and everything associated with shipping of raw material from port to port.
  • Managing the P&L of ocean shipping, port terminals, raw material sales, and investments, driving profitability and ensuring the achievement of financial targets.
  • Lead the development and execution of business strategies, resulting in the expansion of the shipping business and the establishment of a robust inorganic growth pipeline.
  • Implement effective corporate governance practices, ensuring investor interest protection and adherence to high standards of ethics and transparency.
  • Prioritize health, safety, and environmental considerations, implementing robust HSE practices
  • Maintained clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, explaining complex concepts in a manner easily comprehensible to both internal and external audiences.
  • Managing the business of tug & barge/vessels in general.
  • Chartering in/out, operations, maintenance of fleet, upkeeping the class and flag requirements/crew management/ insurance/ periodical dry docking and other routine matters related to marine business.
  • Cost efficiency, driving profitability, and ensuring the achievement of financial targets.

Desired Candidate Profile

Familiarity with operations and dry docking of vessels.
