Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Engineering graduates with bachelor's degree in marine engineering or related field with a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in marine operations and senior management role.


  • Oversee all aspects of marine operations, ensuring safe, efficient Tug & barge/ vessel management.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize fleet performance and minimize operational costs.
  • Chartering in and out, operations, maintenance of fleet, upkeeping the class and flag requirements/crew management/ insurance/ periodical dry docking and other routine matters related to marine business.
  • Cost efficiency, driving profitability, and ensuring the achievement of financial targets.
  • Manage the marine operations budget, and resources are allocated effectively.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all relevant maritime regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with port authorities, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular vessel inspections and audits to identify and address potential risks and ensure compliance.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze operational performance data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Oversee incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Lead and mentor a team of marine professionals, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

  • Must have Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of marine professionals.
  • Proven track record of successful budget management and cost control in a marine operations environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions.
  • Proficient in the use of marine operations software and other relevant technologies.
