Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee all mine operations, ensuring efficient extraction of Coltan and Cassiterite while adhering to Rwandan mining regulations and international best practices.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the mine's growth, including production targets, budget management, and expansion initiatives to maximize profitability.
  • Lead and manage a diverse team of mining professionals, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the highest standards of safety and environmental compliance, including implementing and monitoring safety protocols and environmental impact assessments.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field, demonstrating a strong technical foundation.
  • Holds a professional certification in mining management or a related field, showcasing commitment to industry standards.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in hard rock mining, with a focus on Coltan and Cassiterite operations.
  • Exhibits a deep understanding of Rwandan mining laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
