General Practitioner (GP)

We are seeking experienced and dedicated General Practitioners to provide comprehensive medical care and occupational health services at our industrial site in Duqm, Oman. The ideal candidate will possess solid experience in emergency medicine and occupational health, with a strong understanding of workplace health standards and industrial medical practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide primary and emergency medical care to employees at the site.
  
• Handle occupational health services, including pre-employment, periodic, and fitness-to-work examinations.
  
• Classify and document work-related injuries and illnesses as per occupational health standards.
  
• Interpret and act upon alcohol and drug test results.
  
• Conduct health risk assessments and ensure compliance with occupational health and hygiene regulations.
  
• Coordinate with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) teams for preventive health and safety initiatives.
  
• Maintain accurate medical records and prepare reports as required.
  
• Perform on-call duties and respond promptly to medical emergencies.
  

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• MBBS / MD in General Medicine or equivalent (recognized by relevant medical council).
  
• Minimum 7 years post-qualification experience, including:
  
• At least 3.5 years in Emergency Medicine, and
  
• At least 3.5 years in Occupational Health Services.
  
• Experience working in industrial, oil & gas, or remote site environments preferred.
  
• Strong knowledge of Occupational Health, Safety, and Hygiene standards.
  
• Excellent diagnostic and decision-making skills.
  
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
