Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments to evaluate patient suitability for surgical procedures, ensuring all health risks are identified.
- Perform a variety of surgical procedures, including minimally invasive techniques, with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care during surgery, maintaining effective communication throughout the process.
- Manage post-operative care, including monitoring for complications and providing follow-up care instructions to ensure proper recovery.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with an accredited residency in General Surgery, ensuring a solid foundation in surgical principles.
- Board certification in General Surgery, demonstrating commitment to professional excellence and adherence to industry standards.
- A minimum of 5 years of surgical experience in a clinical setting, showcasing proficiency in a wide range of procedures.
- Experience in a high-volume surgical department, indicating the ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage complex cases.
