About the Role
We are seeking a skilled General Technician (Tiling) to join our Engineering team. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing all tiling works across the property, ensuring a high-quality finish in line with luxury standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain tiles (ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite) across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house
- Prepare surfaces, including leveling and waterproofing, before tile installation
- Cut and fit tiles accurately according to design and layout requirements
- Apply grout, sealants, and finishing materials to ensure durability and quality
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of tiled areas
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and guest-related issues
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and hotel procedures
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Desired Candidate Profile
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in tiling or masonry, preferably within hospitality or large facilities
- Strong knowledge of tiling materials, tools, and installation techniques
- Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings
- Good attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Basic English communication skills
