Roles & Responsibilities
Recruiting – Geography Teacher
We are seeking an outstanding Geography teacher with the ability to teach (I)GCSE and A Level, delivering lessons that build secure disciplinary knowledge, geographical thinking, and a deep understanding of place, space and environment. You will help students make meaningful connections across physical and human geography, apply conceptual understanding to real-world contexts, and develop strong analytical, cartographic, fieldwork and extended-writing skills. We want a teacher who brings the world into the classroom, fosters curiosity about global issues, and challenges students to think critically about sustainability, climate, development and the interconnected systems shaping our planet, underpinned by a proven track record of strong student outcomes.
Professional Requirements
Due to KHDA regulations, we only employ individuals with approved teacher status as well as a degree in their teaching subject area.
• High Quality Degree in Geography or related fields (Must be MOFA Attested).
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (Must be MOFA Attested).
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in the National Curriculum for England in the UK or UAE.
• GCSE and A Level teaching experience – Essential.
• Ability to teach consistently inspirational lessons and a track record of outstanding results.
• A commitment to the wellbeing of all students within their care
• A willingness to make a broader contribution to school life.
• The ability to quickly adapt to a fast-paced international, multicultural and demanding environment.
• An individual with confidence and a proven track record of outstanding results as a leading subject teacher.
• Cleared Police and Safeguarding Background Checks*.
