Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to contribute to A-Level Geography as the school continues to expand its post-16 provision. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed geographer to join a supportive and ambitious British curriculum school with clear plans for Sixth Form growth.
Key Responsibilities include:
Delivering high-quality Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
Planning engaging, well-sequenced lessons aligned to the English National Curriculum
Supporting strong student progress and outcomes at IGCSE
Developing students geographical enquiry skills, fieldwork understanding, and data interpretation
Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, effort, and academic standards
Working collaboratively within the Humanities department and wider school team

Desired Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
Qualified teacher status in Geography or a related Humanities subject
Experience teaching the English National Curriculum and IGCSE Geography

A-Level Geography teaching experience (desirable)
