Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Provide real-time geological support during drilling and well-site operations. Interpret mud logging data, cuttings, well logs, core samples, and seismic data to assess hydrocarbon potential.

2. Review well geological proposals, summarize & communication well geological information & risk to all involved parties, including drilling, mud logging, wireline logging, etc., operation related personnel.

3. Prepare daily geological report & present daily operation meeting.

4. QC & ensure geological related information and data acquisition, mud logging, wireline, etc. submit them in time to office geologist.

5. Provide real time geological interpretation, include well tops, potential pay zones by gas reading.

6. Prepare core/cutting samples, & PVT samples for lab analysis.

7. Prepare final well report.

8. Identify and communicate key or critical issues related with geological & reservoir to office and other parties during well operation.

9. Safety management, communicate in time when any emergency or potential risk happen during operation.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Minimum Education Qualifications : Related geological or petroleum Bachelor degree

2. Work Experience : 5+ years working experience in oil and gas field development

3. Language Skills : Mastering English listening, speaking, reading and writing ability

4. Computer Skills : Skilled application of computer including Petrel/Shiwen 5. Other : Better has geological work experience in Iraq or Middle East

Specific Requirements:

1. To be healthy both physically and mentally. 2. Work in field frequently.
