Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct geotechnical studies (G1-G5) according to applicable standards and reference documents.
Perform the calculations for the support and stability of the embankments/slopes.
Sizing deep and semi-deep foundations (piles, footings, rafts, micropiles).
Produce geotechnical reports with technical conclusions and recommendations.
Participate in the design of retaining structures (reinforced concrete walls, diaphragm walls, sheet pile walls, gabions).
Analyze and interpret geotechnical investigation data (core drilling, soundings, in situ tests, lab tests).

Mastery of GEO5 software and other specialized tools for retaining structure calculations and stability studies.
Mastery of GEO5 software and other software for calculating deep and semi-deep foundations.
Use of AutoCAD for the creation of plans for locating sampling points and in situ tests.
Good knowledge of international and national standards and regulations applied in geotechnics.
Excellent ability to read and interpret soil reports.
Skills in dimensioning retaining structures (gravity walls, reinforced concrete walls, diaphragm walls, sheet pile walls).
Experience in slope stability studies and design of reinforcement solutions (pouring, anchors, gabions, etc.).
Ability to work in coordination with structural and infrastructure teams to optimize technical solutions.
Bac +5, diploma med a master in civil and geotechnical engineering.
Experience of no less than 5 years in the field.
Good ability to work both in a team and independently.
Excellent communication skills.
My perfect mastery of English and French.
Ability to use various software programs in the field such as GEO5, AutoCAD and the Office suite.
