Responsibilities:
Conduct geotechnical and geological investigations for GWR-related soil studiesPlan and execute fieldwork, including drilling, sampling, borehole logging, and in-situ testsPerform soil classification, laboratory test coordination, and geotechnical analysisPrepare geological logs, site investigation reports, and geotechnical recommendationsAnalyze subsurface conditions to evaluate soil strength, settlement, permeability, and suitability for GWR systemsInterpret geophysical data when applicableSupport site teams in foundation design, soil improvement techniques, and groundwater assessmentEnsure compliance with standards, project specifications, and safety requirementsCoordinate with consultants, laboratories, contractors, and project teamsProvide technical input during design, planning, and construction phases
Requirements:
Bachelor s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Civil Engineering, or related field4 7 years of experience in geotechnical engineering or geologyHands-on experience in GWR soil investigation (mandatory)
Strong knowledge of drilling, sampling techniques, and field testing (SPT, CPT, permeability tests, etc.)
Proficiency in geotechnical analysis software (e.g., Plaxis, GeoStudio, gINT, Rocscience)
Familiarity with geological mapping, soil classification systems, and groundwater assessmentStrong report writing, data interpretation, and analytical skillsAbility to work independently on field sitesGood communication and coordination abilitiesCandidate must be currently based in the UAE and available for interview
