Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Deliver and interactive German language lessons to students in accordance with the curriculum.
  • Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments tailored to diverse learning needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and language acquisition.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
  • Incorporate technology and multimedia resources to enhance language learning experiences.
  • Organize and participate in extracurricular activities, language clubs, and cultural events related to German language and culture.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school administration to support student development and academic achievement.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in language education.
  • Uphold school policies, procedures, and standards of conduct at all times.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching German language, preferably in a school setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken German .
  • Ability to integrate technology and digital tools into classroom instruction.
