Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Team Leader is responsible for managing the day-to-day planning and operations of their team to ensure the best customer experience is delivered to clients. This role involves driving team performance to meet goals, coaching teammates, and acting as a liaison between the team and other departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Performance Management: Drive and manage the team s performance to ensure all teammates adhere to their schedules and meet contractual Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Teammate Development: Train and mentor team members, including providing mentorship, guidance, and career development. This includes conducting team huddles and coaching sessions to recognize and address weaknesses for growth and improvement.
- Operational Oversight: Implement escalation channels, handle day-to-day operations, and manage issues that may arise, including those related to HR. The role requires flexibility as shifts may be rotating, especially in a 24/7 business environment.
- Reporting & Communication: Establish team goals, create performance reports, and document feedback from the client. Influence team strategy and share results through effective communication.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience: Ideally 12 months or more of prior relevant people management experience, which may include sales, B2B, account management, or consulting.
Skills: Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and creative problem-solving skills. Experience in providing constructive criticism and implementing corrective action plans is also necessary.
Core Competencies: Must have a high-level understanding of customer confidentiality standards and a passion for the development of teammates. Fluent English and an additional language are typically preferred.
