Job DescriptionAl Saqer Propert Management is a real estate arm of United AlSaqer Group L.L.C. ASPM manage and lease properties in the emirates of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai and overseas. Our development projects continue to provide quality residential, commercial and retail space at affordable prices which appeal to a broad range of customers.We are seeking a detail-oriented GL Accountant to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting business decisions with valuable financial insights.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure accuracy and completeness of general ledger accounts.Post journal entries and maintain all accounting records.Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Generate financial reports for management and other departments.Assist in the preparation of internal and external audit reports.Perform balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulations.Support monthly and year-end closing activities.Assist in tax return preparation (VAT, sales tax, etc.).Contribute to budgeting and forecasting.Provide financial insights to support business functions.Collaborate with other departments (AP, AR, Payroll) to resolve accounting issues.Job requirementsQualifications & SkillsEducation: Bachelor s Degree in Finance or AccountingExperience: Minimum 2 years in a similar role (Oracle experience preferred)Technical Skills: Proficiency in Oracle, MS Office (Excel), and financial systemsSoft Skills: Strong communication, time management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skillsWhy Join Us?Competitive salary and benefitsGrowth opportunities in a dynamic finance teamHands-on experience in financial management and reporting
