Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Polish and buff glass surfaces to remove scratches, marks, or rough edges.
  • Use buffing machines, polishing compounds, and other tools to achieve a smooth and clear finish.
  • Inspect glass panels for defects or imperfections before and after polishing.
  • Prepare glass surfaces by cleaning them and ensuring they are ready for the buffing process.
  • Follow instructions or specifications provided by supervisors or quality standards.
  • Handle glass carefully to prevent breakage or damage.
  • Maintain buffing equipment and keep tools clean and in good working condition.
  • Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and safe.
  • Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Work closely with other team members involved in glass cutting, processing, or installation.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Basic knowledge of glass polishing and buffing techniques.
  • Ability to operate buffing machines and polishing tools safely.
  • Understanding of glass handling and safety practices.
  • Attention to detail to ensure a high-quality finish.
  • Ability to identify scratches, defects, or imperfections in glass.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and careful handling skills.
  • Basic education high school or equivalent preferred.
  • Training or experience in glass polishing, buffing, or glass processing work.
  • Previous experience in glass factories, workshops, or construction-related glass work is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a team and follow supervisor instructions.
