Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Analyze architectural blueprints and specifications with precision to determine glass requirements for accurate bidding.
  • Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates for glass and glazing projects, considering material, labor, and other associated costs.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project conditions, measure existing openings, and identify potential challenges.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to clarify project scopes and resolve discrepancies.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
  • Holds relevant certifications, such as those from the American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA), are advantageous.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in glass and glazing estimating, demonstrating a strong understanding of the industry.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.
