Roles & Responsibilities

Define and evolve Schneider Electric s global organic search strategy, with a strong emphasis on AI-powered, conversational, and generative search experiences. Establish a clear point of view on where search is heading and how Schneider Electric must adapt, balancing innovation with operational excellence. Translate emerging AI search trends into practical, enterprise-ready strategies that leaders can understand, support, and fund.

Act as a trusted strategic partner to senior leaders across global marketing, content, digital experience, and technology. Influence priorities, roadmaps, and investment decisions by clearly articulating the strategic value of search and AI discoverability. Build alignment across regions and functions, navigating complexity and competing priorities with confidence and credibility.

Lead and develop a small, expert organic search team, setting clear strategic direction while empowering specialists to execute. Oversee technical SEO, structured data, schema, and AI search optimization through your team and partners, without needing to be the hands-on executor. Ensure search best practices are embedded into broader content, campaign, and digital experience workflows.

Partner closely with content strategy, campaign, product marketing, and web teams to ensure discoverability is designed in, not added later. Champion a holistic view of search, spanning traditional engines, AI platforms, voice, and emerging discovery models. Act as an internal educator and evangelist for modern search and AI-driven discovery.

Define success metrics that go beyond rankings, focusing on visibility, authority, engagement, and business impact. Synthesize data into clear, compelling narratives that inform decision-making at senior levels. Use insight to continuously refine strategy and demonstrate progress against long-term goals.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in digital marketing or search-related roles, with experience setting strategy at a global or enterprise level.
  • Proven success leading or overseeing organic search programs in complex, matrixed organizations, either directly or through specialized teams.
  • Experience shaping or contributing to AI-driven, generative, or future-facing search strategies, even if not personally executing every technical detail.

Strategic & Leadership Capabilities

  • Demonstrated ability to set vision, influence stakeholders, and gain alignment across senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong people leadership skills, with experience coaching, developing, and motivating expert practitioners.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity, with the confidence to make strategic calls as technology and platforms evolve.
