Job Description Gluing Operator

We are hiring a skilled Gluing Machine Operator to join our production team. The candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining gluing machines used in paper bag/packaging manufacturing. The ideal candidate should have experience in machine handling, quality control, and meeting production targets.

Role & responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automatic/manual gluing machines for paper bags/packaging.
  
• Set up machines according to job specifications (size, adhesive type, speed).
  
• Ensure proper gluing, alignment, and finishing with minimum wastage.
  
• Conduct routine quality checks during production.
  
• Perform basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
  
• Ensure adherence to production schedules and targets.
  
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean working environment.
  
• Collaborate with production supervisors and team members for smooth workflow.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5- 10 years of experience as a Gluing Operator in the packaging/paper bag industry.
  
• Knowledge of machine operations, adhesives, and troubleshooting.
  
• Ability to work in rotational shifts.
  
• Physically fit and attentive to detail.
  
• Team player with good work discipline
