Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to establish and lead our accounting outsourcing office in Chennai. The ideal candidate must have prior hands-on experience in setting up and managing an outsourcing operation, particularly serving corporate clients.

    This is a leadership role requiring strong operational expertise, team management capability, and the ability to ensure high-quality service delivery.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Establish and manage the accounting outsourcing office in Chennai

    • Lead and supervise a team of approximately 10 accounting professionals (initial phase)

    • Develop operational processes, SOPs, and internal controls

    • Ensure high-quality accounting services for corporate clients

    • Oversee client onboarding, service delivery, and relationship management

    • Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations

    • Monitor team performance and implement productivity improvements

    • Report directly to the Owner on operational performance

    Requirements

    • Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting and outsourcing operations

    • Proven experience in running and managing an outsourcing office

    • Strong leadership and team management skills

    • Solid understanding of corporate accounting practices

    • Experience working with corporate clients

    • Fluent in English (spoken and written)

    • Indian nationality

    Preferred Profile

    • Experience serving international clients

    • Strong organizational and process-development skills

    • Ability to scale operations in a structured and controlled manner
