Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The candidate will also provide support and engagement on governance initiatives for both Emirates Islamic and ENBD, where appropriate lead select initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 1-5 years banking, operations, compliance, investments and/or governance experience.
  • Strong excel skills.
  • A strong governance mind-set, attention to detail, and investment and credit experience is valuable.
  • Knowledge and understanding of CMA Rule Book Section 3 Business Practice

Responsibilities:

  • Support projects and initiatives to enhance the governance function and regulatory framework.
  • Engagement with all relevant functions to manage and successfully deliver on governance matters including remediations.
  • Effective engagement across geographies as well as subsidiaries on projects & initiatives.
  • Deliver projects governance.
  • Representation and contribution in relation to projects, governance and overall business support.

Desired Candidate Profile

The role requires the candidate to be able to proposals and/or business cases which may be used for both internal and external purposes, pitch books, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills that would enable him/her to articulate effectively and facilitate coordination with stakeholders on projects/initiatives. A strong governance mind-set, attention to detail, and investment and credit experience is valuable. Envisaged projects and initiatives will be as a result of our commercial interests, and/or as a result of compliance with regulatory requirements, Group policies and procedures./p>
