Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of GPS tracking systems across the company s fleet.
- Lead a team of GPS tracking specialists and coordinate with operations, logistics, and IT departments to ensure seamless system integration.
- Monitor real-time vehicle locations, routes, and driver behaviors to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
- Analyze GPS data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost reduction or service improvement.
- Develop and enforce policies for the effective use of GPS tracking technology in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Provide training and support to staff on GPS tracking tools, protocols, and best practices.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to evaluate and implement new tracking technologies.
- Generate regular reports on fleet performance, incidents, and system utilization for senior management.
- Respond promptly to system alerts, incidents, or emergencies, ensuring swift resolution and minimal disruption.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximize the value and reliability of GPS tracking solutions.
- Minimum of 5 years and maximum of 7 years of experience in GPS tracking management, fleet operations, or telematics systems.
- Proven experience in managing GPS tracking systems within a transportation or logistics environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- In-depth knowledge of GPS tracking technologies, telematics platforms, and related software.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices in fleet management and transportation safety.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
- Experience in vendor management and technology evaluation.
- Ability to work on-site and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
