Grade Checker Desert Man Transporting & Contracting - SOLE PROPRIETORSHIP L.L.C.

Desertman Transporting & Contracting LLC (DMTC), a leading infrastructure, transportation, and contracting company in Abu Dhabi, is looking for an experienced Grade Checker to join our infrastructure and road projects team.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in roadworks, earthworks, utilities, and infrastructure construction projects within the UAE/GCC.

Key Responsibilities

• Check levels, alignment, and grading works on-site according to approved drawings and specifications.

• Assist surveyors and site engineers in setting out road and infrastructure works.

• Monitor excavation, backfilling, subgrade, road base, and asphalt levels.

• Ensure all grading and levels comply with project requirements and tolerances.

• Coordinate with machine operators and site supervisors for accurate execution.

• Verify benchmarks, offsets, and elevation points during construction activities.

• Report discrepancies and support corrective actions on-site.

• Maintain safety and quality standards during operations.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of UAE/GCC experience as a Grade Checker in infrastructure or road projects.

• Experience in:

  • Roads & highways

  • Infrastructure projects

  • Earthworks & utilities

  • Excavation and backfilling

• Ability to read construction drawings and level sheets.

• Familiarity with surveying instruments and grading procedures.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Immediate joiners preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or Technical Certification in Civil Engineering or Surveying.

• Experience working with total station/survey teams is an advantage.
