This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our UAE Business Unit.

Wood has been awarded a general engineering contract to support an International Client operator to deliver a portfolio of onshore capital projects by provision of engineering and project management services (including EPC contract management), as well as Supply Chain, Construction and Commissioning support from Wood Iraq and UAE offices.

Projects include both Greenfield and Brownfield modification projects and integrating low-carbon solutions to support our client s energy transition and emissions reduction goals.

  • Conversant in Theory of Structural Engineering, Analysis of Structures
  • Materials
  • Design of Steel Structures and Detailing
  • Design of Concrete Structures and Detailing
  • Ability to perform Wind Load Analysis
  • Ability to perform Seismic Load Analysis
  • Analysis and Design by Staad Pro (preferably) and other Software
  • Preparation of MRs
  • Conversant in American Codes Steel and Concrete
  • Conversant in Soil Mechanics
  • Ability to perform Analysis and Design of Foundation Open and Deep type
  • Road, Drainage, Culverts design
  • Clear communicator with good interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated and self-reliant
  • Problem solver
  • Open analytic thinker and innovator
  • Good communicator with willingness to share knowledge and support others
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Fluent in English and Arabic

Desired Candidate Profile

Expected:
