The key objectives for this role are:

  • Graduate level understanding of Engineering practices, design methods and calculations
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret technical information applicable to their discipline of engineering

Desired Candidate Profile

Expected:

  • Bachelor s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.
  • 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in flow assurance, production engineering, process engineering, or related oil & gas engineering roles, including internships, graduate programs, or project based experience.
  • Fundamental academic knowledge of flow assurance concepts, including multiphase flow, fluid properties, hydrate formation, wax and asphaltene deposition, flow regimes, corrosion, erosion, and thermal analysis.
  • Basic understanding of oil and gas production systems, including pipelines, subsea systems, topsides facilities, and operating philosophies.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and recommended practices (e.g., API, ISO, ASME) relevant to flow assurance and offshore/onshore hydrocarbon operations.
  • Awareness of regulatory and HSE requirements applicable to engineering design and operations within the energy sector.
  • Exposure to or basic working knowledge of flow assurance and process simulation software tools such as OLGA, PIPESIM, HYSYS, Aspen, MATLAB, or equivalent (academic or professional use).
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to apply engineering fundamentals to practical engineering challenges under supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for calculations, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated eagerness to learn, develop technical competence, and work effectively in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
