We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as GRC Associate on 12 months FTC Maternity cover. Reporting to the GRC Manager, this full-time and permanent position is based in United Arab Emirates and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Corporates Department and it s growth.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Support GRC colleagues with the Screening activities, and client onboarding activities
• Support GRC colleagues in the provision of GRC services to clients
• Undertaking the KYC projects and ad hoc projects
• Ensure adequate time registration and communication
• Work alongside the GRC colleagues and Support the team with ongoing AML and compliance matters including reviews and updates of clients Manuals, Policies and procedures
• Report on deliverables and keep time sheets
• Maintain workflow records for quality control
• Collaborate with GRC colleagues on internal projects such as the implementation of new frameworks or analyzing the impact of new rules.

Attributes/ Technical Skills

• Able to combine a strategic role while maintaining a very hands-on approaching paying close attention to details
• Strong sense of professional integrity
• A strong team player with good communication and people management skills in a dynamic, fast-changing environment
• Basic understanding of AML and core compliance requirements
• Basic legal skills (understanding and analyzing legal documents)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  
  

Relevant Experience

• Minimum of one year of relevant experience in a compliance environment (GRC consultancy firm, financial institution or law firm)
• MNC experience preferred
  
  

Education and Professional Qualification

• Bachelor degree in Law, Financial Management, Business Administration or similar
