GRC Fixer Builtup Contracting

Job Title: GRC Fixer (Glass Reinforced Concrete Fixer)

The GRC Fixer is responsible for the installation, alignment, and secure fixing of Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC) elements such as façade panels, cladding, decorative mouldings, cornices, and architectural features in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and fix GRC panels, mouldings, cornices, columns, and decorative architectural elements.

• Read and interpret approved shop drawings and method statements.

• Mark and prepare fixing locations as per layout drawings.

• Install supporting brackets, anchors, and steel frames for GRC elements.

• Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and secure fastening of GRC components.

• Carry out minor adjustments, patching, and joint treatment after installation.

• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and other trades on site.

• Follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE at all times.

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

• Ensure work is completed within project timelines and quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a GRC Fixer in construction or façade works (minimum 2–3 years preferred).

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

• Knowledge of fixing methods, anchor systems, and installation techniques.

• Familiarity with scaffolding and working at heights.

• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor/site conditions.

• Basic knowledge of safety regulations and site procedures
