Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage the GRC framework to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and best practices.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential governance, risk, and compliance issues and provide solutions for mitigation.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with relevant laws, standards, and policies.
- Facilitate compliance training and awareness programs to enhance the understanding of GRC concepts across the organization.
- Collaborate with various departments to develop and maintain policies, procedures, and controls related to governance and compliance.
- Prepare and present reports on GRC matters to senior management and the board of directors.
- Engage with external auditors and regulatory bodies during assessments and compliance reviews.
- Promote a culture of ethical conduct and accountability throughout the organization.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in governance, risk management, and compliance.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in governance, risk management, and compliance roles.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management frameworks.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing governance and compliance programs.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
- Professional certifications in GRC (e.g., CCEP, CRISC, CISA) are highly preferred.
- Experience in the construction or infrastructure industry is an advantage.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
