Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of GRE/GRP piping systems during fabrication, installation, and testing phases to ensure adherence to project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Verify material certifications, dimensional accuracy, and proper handling of GRE/GRP pipes, fittings, and components to prevent defects and ensure system integrity.
- Monitor and inspect jointing procedures, including adhesive application, curing times, and alignment, to prevent leaks and maintain system pressure ratings.
- Witness pressure testing and leak detection activities, documenting results and ensuring compliance with established acceptance criteria for GRE/GRP piping systems.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, demonstrating a strong foundation in engineering principles.
- Holds relevant certifications such as API 570 or a similar piping inspection certification, showcasing expertise in industry standards.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry, indicating practical experience in relevant environments.
- Exhibits a deep understanding of GRE/GRP piping materials, manufacturing processes, and installation techniques, ensuring comprehensive knowledge.
