Green Finance Specialist

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Green Finance Specialist to join their team in developing and implementing financial products and services that support environmentally friendly projects and initiatives. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental sustainability, finance, and investment principles.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop financial products and services that support environmentally friendly projects, such as green bonds, green loans, and sustainable infrastructure investments.

- Assess the environmental impact of potential investments and projects, and provide recommendations to stakeholders.

- Work with internal stakeholders, including investment teams, risk management, and sustainability teams, to identify opportunities for green finance and develop strategies to support environmentally friendly projects.

- Track and report on the performance of green finance initiatives, including metrics such as carbon emissions reduction and sustainable investment volumes.

- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in green finance.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field.

- 3-5 years of experience in finance, investment, or sustainability.

- Skills:

- Strong understanding of environmental sustainability and finance principles.

- Experience with financial modeling and analysis.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

- Certifications such as CFA, CAIA, or Certified Sustainability Practitioner (CSP) are desirable.
