Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate a wide range of ground support equipment including passenger stairs,
airconditioning units, airstarter units, aircraft power units, unit load devices, ground power
units (GPUs), baggage tugs, pallet loaders, man lifts, ramp sweepers, and company trucks.
- Provide full ground operations support similar to the responsibilities of the Ramp and
Baggage Handling Agent, including baggage loading/unloading and supporting cargo
shipments.
- Marshal aircraft during arrival and departure and assist with safe aircraft parking and
securing.
- Load and unload passenger baggage, cargo, and mail from aircraft using appropriate
ground handling equipment.
- Perform refueling and defueling operations for fixedwing and rotorwing aircraft in
accordance with established company procedures.
- Transport crew, passengers, and baggage between aircraft and the terminal building when
required.
- Operate ramp equipment to support passengers with reduced mobility.
- Provide assistance for medical flights, including patient transfer to and from aircraft.
- Monitor fueling facilities, conduct fuel sampling, and perform fueling operations when
required.
- Assist Aircraft Cleaning Services Agents with interior and exterior cabin cleaning tasks
when necessary.
- Carry out daily inspections of all assigned ground support equipment, ensure cleanliness,
and report any deficiencies to the shift supervisor.
- Maintain strong awareness of ramp safety practices and ensure safe operation of light and
heavy ground equipment.
- Complete all mandatory job-related training as directed by Mukamalah.
- Perform any additional operational or safety-related duties as directed by the Mukamalah
Representative.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 3 years of experience in aircraft ground handling operations with
documented GSE qualification.
- Strong English communication (read, write, speak).
- Diploma in Aviation or related field (required).
- Preferred certifications:
- GSE Operator License (IATA/GACA)
- Airport/Airside Health & Safety
- First Aid & CPR
- Airside Driving
- SMS Training
- Emergency Response & Airport Security Awareness
- Human Factors Training
- Ability to extend duty hours & work on non-working days during emergencies.
