Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations and the general ledger.

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Ensure compliance with IFRS / local accounting standards and tax regulations.

Oversee AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets.

Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.

Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banks.

Supervise and develop the accounting team.

Support budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial controls.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5 10 years of accounting experience, including a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and local tax laws.
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, etc.).
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and leadership capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CMA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in [industry: Manufacturing / Real Estate / Trading / Services].
  • Prior experience managing audits and tax inspections.
