Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Cost Manager to oversee cost planning, modeling, and financial monitoring across three distinct but interlinked startup ventures:

The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, sector versatility, and startup sensitivity balancing strategic forecasting with hands-on reporting across pre-revenue, scaling, and operational phases.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Modeling & Forecasting
- Develop detailed cost models and budget forecasts for each business line across CAPEX, OPEX, and revenue streams.
- Build flexible financial simulations for unit economics, market expansion, and scenario planning.
- Establish cost baselines and track deviations aligned to key KPIs and strategic objective.
2. Budgeting & Cash Flow Management
- Construct and maintain consolidated and business-specific budgets.
- Set up real-time cash flow tracking systems and proactively manage liquidity risks.
- Align spend forecasts with procurement, lease obligations, and go-to-market timelines.
3. Reporting & Performance Analysis
- Deliver clear, executive-level monthly financial reports with variance analysis, burn rates, and runway calculations.
- Prepare board-ready dashboards and funding models for investor updates and strategic decisions.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities without compromising service quality or business growth
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with operations, legal, product, and marketing teams to cost projects accurately.
- Interface with external accountants, audit firms, and compliance consultants where needed.
- Support commercial negotiations by advising on cost implications and sustainability of proposed models.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s or Master s in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cost management, preferably across startups, tech, or infrastructure sectors.
- Proven experience creating multi-scenario P&L models, startup burn monitoring, and strategic cash planning.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, Power BI/Tableau, and accounting tools (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks).
- Familiarity with UAE commercial frameworks, including leasing and VAT compliance.
- Ability to work independently in a high-paced environment, meet deadlines, and present clearly to C-level stakeholders.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Bachelor s degree is must.
