Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Guest Laundry Marker to join our hospitality team in Baghdad, Iraq. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately marking and tracking guest laundry items to ensure proper handling and timely return.
- Receive and inspect guest laundry items, noting any pre-existing damage or stains
- Mark guest laundry items using appropriate techniques to ensure proper identification
- Sort and organize laundry items according to fabric type and care instructions
- Maintain accurate records of received and processed laundry items
- Coordinate with laundry staff to ensure timely processing and return of guest items
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns regarding laundry services in a professional manner
- Adhere to hotel standards and procedures for laundry handling and guest privacy
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with housekeeping and front desk staff to ensure seamless laundry service
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications
- Previous experience in laundry services or hospitality industry preferred
- Proficiency in laundry marking techniques and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong customer service skills and a supportive attitude
- Knowledge of fabric types and care instructions
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
