Roles & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Residences, the responsibilities and essential functions of the position include:

  • Respond to the needs and requests of owners/residents according to instructions.
  • To offer a warm, sincere and personalized welcome to all residents.
  • Initiate personalized conversations with residents to identify their personal preferences and record them in their profiles (via software).
  • to be proactive and anticipate all the residents' requirements to guarantee an experience that lives up to their expectations.
  • Gather feedback on experiences and suggestions for activities in order to better meet their expectations.
  • Maintain a daily record (via software) of all requests, reservations and confirmations for residents.
  • Having knowledge of all current residents, arrivals and departures.
  • Record and complete the follow-up procedures for intervention requests at the residence level.
  • Under the supervision of management, assist in the coordination of all services aimed at promoting the maintenance and preservation of owners and their property.
  • Management and monitoring of all services associated with the city and its surroundings (for example, booking tickets for the theatre, sporting events and local attractions, booking and confirming restaurant reservations, etc.).
  • Management of all services related to apartment maintenance, facilities, public services, school organization, including other requests.
  • D Develop relationships and communications with the hotel's points of sale in order to provide residents with hotel-related services.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all hotel retail outlet details as they relate to residents (e.g., spa opening hours, set menu prices, etc.) to quickly provide answers to relevant resident questions.
  • Having in-depth knowledge of routes, travel times, costs and different modes of transport.
  • Communicating about new restaurants, points of sale, events...
  • Maintain detailed records of all incoming and outgoing deliveries.
  • Facilitate the processing of residential fax documents and other administrative requests.

Desired Candidate Profile

A two-year post-secondary degree in Hotel Management;

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in the Reception department;
  • Professionalism, diligence, excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate in French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • A pleasant and extroverted personality.
  • Availability for flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Ability to work night shifts.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
  • Driver's license.
  • Prior knowledge of 5-star hotels or luxury residential buildings.
