Job Description

As a Guest Service Officer-Concierge at our prestigious establishment, you play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests enjoy a memorable and seamless experience. You will be the face of our organization, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that guests feel welcomed, attended to, and satisfied throughout their stay. You will be responsible for assisting guests with inquiries, reservations, and requests, ensuring that their needs are met promptly and professionally. With your expert knowledge of local attractions, events, and services, you will provide valuable recommendations, helping guests make the most of their visit. Working in a dynamic team, you will collaborate closely with different departments to manage guest requests efficiently and enhance overall guest satisfaction. This position requires exceptional communication skills, an approachable demeanor, and a high level of organizational skills to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of service.


Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome guests warmly as they approach the concierge desk.
  • Provide detailed information about facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Assist guests in making reservations for dining, entertainment, or services.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate guest transportation arrangements, including taxis and airport shuttles.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of local events and services for guest reference.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local vendors and service providers.
  • Communicate effectively with hotel departments to fulfill guest needs and requests.
  • Ensure the concierge desk and reception area are tidy and welcoming at all times.
  • Manage high call volumes and prioritize tasks efficiently while multitasking.
  • Provide personalized guest service by remembering guest preferences and repeat visits.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new concierge team members as needed.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse guests.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to guest service.
  • Knowledge of local attractions, dining options, and services is highly beneficial.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software related to hospitality management.
