Professional Skills & Role Expectations:
- Ability to support students in:
- Academic planning
- Career guidance
- Social and emotional wellbeing
- Experience working with students, parents, and staff collaboratively
- Capability to handle student wellbeing, referrals, and crisis situations
Desired Candidate Profile
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Counselling, Psychology, Education, or Social Sciences (required)
- Background in education is strongly preferred.
- Fluent in English / Native English speaker with Canadian background preferred.
Experience:
- Previous school-based counselling experience preferred
- Prior teaching experience is often required or considered a strong asset
