Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Precisely measure, cut, and install gypsum boards onto walls and ceilings, ensuring accurate dimensions and minimal waste.
- Expertly fasten gypsum panels to framing using screws or nails, maintaining proper spacing and alignment for structural integrity.
- Skilledly apply joint compound and tape to seams and corners, creating smooth, seamless surfaces ready for painting or finishing.
- Efficiently sand down joint compound to achieve a flawless finish, preparing surfaces for optimal paint adhesion and aesthetic appeal.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent is required, providing a foundational understanding of construction principles.
- A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in gypsum installation demonstrates practical expertise and proficiency.
- Possession of a valid driver's license enables reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and construction drawings is essential for accurate installations.
