Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking experienced Gyro Survey Specialists to join a major oilfield services provider in Kuwait on a permanent staff basis. This is a field-based role supporting drilling operations through accurate wellbore positioning and survey execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform gyro surveys to determine wellbore trajectory and position
- Operate and maintain north-seeking, continuous, and memory gyro systems
- Ensure accuracy and quality of survey data in line with client and company standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve electronic and mechanical tool issues on-site
- Collaborate with drilling and directional teams to support well delivery
- Prepare and deliver survey reports to clients
Desired Candidate Profile
Proven experience in gyro surveying within oil & gas operations
- Strong knowledge of wellbore positioning and survey principles
- Hands-on experience with north-seeking, continuous, or memory gyro tools
- Solid understanding of drilling operations and downhole tools
- Ability to work independently in a rig site environment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
