Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

You will be a field-based Haemato-Oncology Medical Scientific Liaison supporting medical engagement across Saudi Arabia. You will build trusted, scientific relationships with haematology and oncology experts. You will gather and share medical insights to shape evidence generation and medical strategy. The Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) is a non-promotional field-based medical role responsible for conducting medical engagements/activities that ensure the safe and effective use of GSK s medicines while generating medical insights. MSL is expected to drive EEs/HCPs education journeys using the behavior adoption tool, provide support to GSK clinical development & Key Evidence Generation programs.

Responsibilities:

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Conduct peer-to-peer scientific interactions with haemato and oncology healthcare professionals, both proactively and reactively.
  • Capture, document and share medical insights to inform local evidence generation and medical strategy.
  • Support medical education activities, advisory boards, and scientific workshops for external experts and internal colleagues.
  • Provide timely, fair and evidence-based responses to unsolicited medical information requests and safety queries.
  • Support clinical development activities such as investigator identification and site feasibility when required.
  • Use approved systems to record activities and outcomes, and ensure compliance with local laws, policies and pharmacovigilance requirements.

  • Bachelor s degree in pharmaceutical science.
  • Saudi National
  • Valid license from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties or equivalent local licensure.
  • At least 2 years experience in pharmaceutical medical, clinical, or field roles.
  • Practical knowledge of haemato-oncology clinical practice or experience working with oncology or haematology healthcare professionals.
  • Strong written and spoken English. Arabic is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience presenting clinical data to healthcare audiences.

Preferred Qualification

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus

  • Advanced degree ( PhD, or MSc) or postgraduate training in hematology, oncology, or related area.
  • Experience supporting clinical trials, investigator identification, or site engagement.
  • Familiarity with medical information systems and CRM platforms.
  • Experience in evidence generation, publications, or health economics and outcomes research.
  • Experience working within a matrix environment and collaborating with commercial, access, and regulatory teams.
  • Fluency in Arabic and experience engaging national stakeholders, payers or guideline committees.

Work Model

This role will be based in Saudi Arabia and is field-based with regular travel across the assigned geography. The role is on-site and hybrid working arrangements may be agreed based on business needs and local policy.
