Roles & Responsibilities
Role Overview
To ensure a smooth and efficient operation in the Maintenance Department in relation to the Company Core Process; thus, directly impacting on the maintenance of facilities, equipment and attractions.
This position involves the Operation, Maintenance, and Rectification of all facilities, services, and equipment such as Electrical, HVAC-R (heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration), plumbing/drainage, kitchen equipment, irrigation and landscaping, storm water, potable water, gas system, firefighting suppression system - including civil works.
In-charge for the assigned shift or for 8 hours operation.
Manages the service provider on duty, that includes the following: Site engineer, Team leader, Technician, and external Contractors under our employ.
Inform the Assistant Manager(s) of any issues or abnormalities that involve Colleagues or equipment that need immediate action.
Ensure smooth coordination/cooperation with other Departments, Contractors, Service Providers or Project Teams.

Hard Services
- Lead and supervises the shift in all the aspects of the facilities department.
- Periodically check the plant rooms, public areas, and raise tasks to resolve issues.
- Closely work with the Asst. managers and take responsibility to substitute them during their absence.
- Provide guidance or directives to Colleagues if there are challenges or difficulties encountered during their course of monitoring the service provider assigned PM or repair works.
- To assist when receiving calls from various departments with different requests or needs in assistance.
- Verify and check that all PM schedules were assigned and performed as per standard.
- Prepare OPEX PRs based on the operational requirements. To monitor and oversee the work.
- Able to work night shifts and monitor the ongoing project works and service provider PMs.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Education and Qualifications
Essential:
- Hospitality or Theme Park environment FM training, which involves all the MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) systems - including civil works.
- Computer Literate (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).
- Ability to work under pressure, persistent, and team oriented.
Desirable:
- High School Diploma, Trade Certificate/License or Related Course Diploma.
Years of Experience
Essential:
- Must have a minimum of at least 3 years experience in the maintenance field, in either the hospitality or theme park industry.
Desirable:
- Must have a minimum of at least 4 years experience in the maintenance field, in either the hospitality or theme park industry.
Knowledge, Languages and Skills
Essential:
- Technical experience and knowledge of the following: HVAC-R/BMS, Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and Landscaping.
- Leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and busy environment including managing multiple deadlines, tasks, and projects.
- Aware of international and local regulation/standards in regard to Facilities work.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Maximo.
- Knowledge of energy conservation strategies.
Desired Candidate Profile
