Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Hardware Engineer to join our HAV Solutions team in Cairo, Egypt.
Main Responsibilities:
- Understand and execute memory protocol standards (e.g., JEDEC).
- Design, implement, and debug SoftModel memories for simulation, emulation, and prototyping environments.
- Debug simulation- and emulation-based verification.
- Test the VirtuaLAB solution portfolio for each quarterly release.
- Monitor test results and summarize outcomes across different configurations and platforms, including benchmarking.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
- Solid experience with Verilog and/or SystemVerilog.
- Knowledge of digital hardware design and FPGA design flow.
- 0 1 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with memory protocols.
- Good knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, Python, and TCL/TK is required.
- Familiarity with Siemens DISW tools such as simulation, synthesis, or functional verification flows is a plus.
- Prior knowledge of prototyping or emulation is preferred.
- Ability to work remotely.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to work in a hands-on role from initial specification through to deployment support.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share knowledge with others.
