Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job description:
- Manage and support HW FuSa (Hardware Functional Safety) activities while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Plan and track tasks according to project schedules.
- Define hardware safety requirements from technical safety requirements and perform safety metric calculations.
- To act as the interface with suppliers and customers on hardware-related security issues.
- Identify and contribute to the implementation of all necessary design changes.
- Participate in design reviews with peers and technical experts.
- Participate in the creation and updating of project deliverables, including FTA (Fault Tree Analysis), FMEA, HARA, TSC and FSC.
- Develop test plans that take into account the different failure modes.
- Manage project communication with stakeholders, including clients and designers.
- use of the FIDES ExpertTool for electronic reliability assessment
- Functional Safety Plan Design
- Configuration Management Plan Design
- Change Management Plan Design
- Design of a Functional Safety Assessment Plan
- Design of a Hardware Integration and Testing Plan for Safety Topics
Required skills:
- Proven experience in creating safety hardware deliverables in accordance with ISO 26262.
- Solid background in electronic circuit design and simulation.
- Good knowledge of the functional safety standard ISO 26262.
- Good command of the DOORS tool for requirements management.
- Proven experience in hardware reliability and functional safety in the automotive industry.
- Good knowledge of automotive safety standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and great attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with key hardware security deliverables, including:
- HRS (Hardware Requirements Specification) – Hardware requirements specification
- FMEDA (Failure Modes, Effects, and Diagnostic Analysis) – Failure Modes, Effects, and Diagnostic Analysis
- FTA (Fault Tree Analysis) – Fault tree analysis
- DFA (Dependent Failure Analysis) – Analysis of dependent failures
- Design of functional safety plans
Desired Candidate Profile
Your profile:
- Engineering degree or master's degree in electrical engineering, embedded systems, mechatronics engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in reliability engineering > 2 years
