Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily cashier operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all transactions.
  • Train, mentor, and support cashier staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide exceptional service to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor cash registers, reconcile cash drawers, and prepare daily financial reports.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to cash handling and loss prevention.
  • Coordinate with store management to optimize staffing and workflow during peak hours.
  • Assist with inventory management, including stock checks and restocking as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols within the cashier area.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices.
  • Support sales and promotional activities by providing information and assistance to customers.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 3 years and up to 6 years of experience in a cashier or retail supervisory role.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail software.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to upholding company values and delivering outstanding service.
  • Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with team members.
