Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and direct commissioning activities for projects, providing guidance to Lead/Senior Commissioning Engineers, Operation Readiness Discipline Engineers, and Technicians. Ensure consistent, safe, and standardized execution of design, pre commissioning, commissioning, start up, and handover activities in alignment with QatarEnergy procedures, engineering standards, safety requirements, and environmental regulations. Ensure Asset Owners are fully prepared to assume safe, reliable, and sustainable operation and maintenance of the facilities at handover.
Experience
- Minimum of 15 years' experience in operations, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start up of power generation/process facilities (onshore/offshore).
- At least 8 years in a commissioning management role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong IT, analytical, and problem solving skills; ability to perform under pressure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 15 years' experience in operations, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start up of power generation/process facilities (onshore/offshore). At least 8 years in a commissioning management role. Membership in a recognized engineering or project management association/institution is an advantage. Experience in Arabian Gulf region preferred.
