Role Overview

The Head Host/Hostess leads the reception area and oversees the guest arrival experience, ensuring seamless coordination between reservations, seating, and service flow. Acting as a key liaison between guests and the floor team, this role maintains organization, composure, and consistency during service while supporting Hosts/Hostess and upholding brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Experience Leadership: Oversees guest reception, ensuring every arrival is acknowledged promptly and handled with warmth and professionalism.
• Reservation Management: Manages the reservation system, monitors table allocations, and adjusts seating plans in real time to optimize restaurant flow and waiting times.
• Guest Care: Anticipates guest needs, communicates preferences or special occasions to the service team, and supports a personalized experience.
• Communication: Works closely with the floor team and management to ensure accurate updates on table readiness, reservations, and service priorities.
• Presentation & Standards: Maintains an immaculate host stand and professional presence, reflecting the elegance expected in a fine dining environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Host/Hostess in an upscale or high-volume restaurant.
• Demonstrated confidence in handling reservations and guest flow.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Professional presence with excellent attention to detail.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
