Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Orchestrate and optimize daily nursing operations, ensuring seamless patient care delivery and efficient resource allocation.
- Lead and mentor a diverse nursing team, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes professional growth and development.
- Implement and uphold hospital policies and procedures, guaranteeing compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Manage patient flow and bed allocation, optimizing patient throughput and minimizing wait times.
- Act as a liaison between patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, promoting clear communication and understanding.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and enhance patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, driving continuous improvement in nursing practices and patient safety.
- Manage the nursing budget and resources effectively, ensuring cost-efficient operations and optimal patient care.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in nursing practice, integrating evidence-based practices to elevate the standard of care.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- Holds a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Prior experience in the specific healthcare setting (e.g., acute care, critical care, etc.) is highly preferred.
- Holds certifications relevant to the specialty area (e.g., ACLS, BLS).
- Exhibits strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Possesses a proven track record of managing and motivating nursing staff.
