Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the NICU, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards of care for critically ill newborns.
- Lead and mentor a team of nurses and support staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment that promotes professional growth.
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and workflows specific to the NICU, ensuring they align with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the NICU budget, including resource allocation, staffing, and equipment procurement, while optimizing cost-effectiveness.
- Act as a liaison between the NICU team, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor patient outcomes and quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
· Bachelors in Nursing or Masters in Nursing
· Registered Nurse at a Licensing Authority
· Minimum 7 years in nursing practice and 2 years in a supervisory role
· Ability to plan and prioritize
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Good collaboration, communication and teamwork skills
