Roles & Responsibilities
What You Will Be Doing
Lead the full Advertising organization, owning strategy, revenue growth, client success, product adoption and
team development across all markets.
Oversee all advertising activities for external brands, agencies and strategic partners, ensuring world-class
execution and measurable business impact.
Act as the senior commercial lead for advertising sales: set targets, drive pipeline, close strategic deals and
unlock new revenue streams.
Build strong relationships with senior clients and agency leaders, positioning Jumia Advertising as a key partner
in their digital investment strategy.
Guide cross-functional teams (KAMs, Ad Ops, Data, Creative, Category teams) to ensure seamless delivery of
campaigns and programs.
Monitor and analyze the performance of all campaigns, generating insights, recommendations and quarterly
business reviews for key stakeholders.
Develop and scale best-in-class project management, campaign workflows, measurement frameworks and client
reporting.
Identify new monetization opportunities, innovate around formats, targeting, retail media products and
performance solutions.
Collaborate closely with category and brand teams to build integrated digital content plans, optimize mediabr
efficiency and improve client ROI.
Recruit, coach and mentor a high-performing team, fostering an ownership-driven, entrepreneurial culture.
What We Are Looking For
Desired Candidate Profile
What We Are Looking For
Strong academic background in Marketing, Advertising, Business or a related field.
Proven experience in digital advertising with at least 2 years in a media agency; 4+ years preferred in senior
advertising, media sales or client leadership roles.
Solid track record driving revenue, leading sales cycles and managing senior client relationships.
Entrepreneurial mindset: ability to build, improve, innovate and operate with a high level of autonomy.
Excellent understanding of digital advertising ecosystems: media buying, audience targeting, retail media,
attribution, analytics, KPIs.
Skilled at working with and influencing multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
Comfortable working with data, insights, reporting tools and campaign measurement frameworks.
Creative yet commercially driven; able to turn marketing objectives into actionable, measurable solutions.
Resilient, adaptable and energized by fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Passionate about advertising, technology, brand building and client success.
