Head of AI Solutions/Lead AI Scientist - Industry-Leading Multi-Domain AI Programme - Long-Term Contract - Abu Dhabi - Unmatched Remuneration
I'm working with a major AI consultancy in the Middle East that is building a next-generation AI platform spanning multiple industries, including recruitment technology, healthcare, disaster management, and enterprise automation. They are now seeking a Head of AI Solutions/Lead AI Scientist to spearhead the architecture, development, and scaling of advanced AI capabilities across the organisation.
In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of sophisticated AI/ML systems, guide research and innovation, and play a key part in shaping the organisation's overall AI strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams while driving technical leadership, patent activity, and enterprise-wide AI adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
. Architect, develop, and deploy AI/ML systems across NLP, computer vision, LLMs, MLOps, and agent-based frameworks
. Lead R&D initiatives and translate emerging AI techniques into scalable, real-world solutions
. Build and fine-tune domain-specific LLMs with strong focus on data privacy and compliance
. Oversee cloud infrastructure, model optimisation, and API integrations
. Collaborate with engineering, product, and strategy teams to align AI solutions with business goals
. Mentor and lead ML engineers, data scientists, and developers while establishing robust R&D processes
. Drive innovation output, including patents, publications, and conference contributions
